Visual Standards for Both Male and Female Candidates:

  • Distant vision should be 6^6 in both eyes, with or without glasses.
  • Near vision should not be less than J1.

Written Examination Syllabus

  1. General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography
    • Questions related to Counter Terrorism Department, NACTA, FATF, Terrorism, National Action Plan, and Basics of Anti-Terrorism Laws in Pakistan
  2. English-language comprehension
    • Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Correction/Completion, One-word substitution, and Idioms
  3. Basic Software usage
    • MS Office, Electronic Record-Keeping, Internet, and E-mail

Medical Certificate Instructions

  • Issued by Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters Hospitals, Service Hospital Lahore, or Police Line Hospital Lahore
  • Issued within 3 months before the closing date
  • Chest expansion must be at least 1.5 inches
  • Certificates from Govt. Tehsil Hospital or Private Hospital not accepted
  • OPD slip-based certificates not accepted
  • Only PPSC-format certificates accepted

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  •  No relaxation in age (General age relaxation), education or physical standardshall be allowed. Punjab Civil Servants recruitment relaxation in upper agelimit) Rules 1976 do not apply to these posts
  • The candidates who qualify for the test will be recommended forappointment they will have to appear for such medical examinations and meetthe conditions for appointment other than the above, as prescribed bythe Government.
  •  Change in the priority or selection of examination centres after the fixation ofThe written test shall not be allowed.
  • Those candidates who are declared provisionally successful for interview may becalled for a psychological assessment before the interview.

2. Employees of the Federal Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies ofThe federal or provincial government and those local bodies are not entitled to age concessions for the period of their service in such an organization.

Qualification Claim:

If a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification, he/she will be required to submit an equivalence certificate of his/her foreign/local qualification issued by the Higher Education Commission (H.E.C.) or Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (Q.E.D.C.) of the concerned department, which will be accepted by the Commission as final at the time of the interview or whenever asked by the Commission. If a candidate fails to submit an equivalent certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of the interview or whenever asked by the Commission, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

4. If a candidate claims experience with a private firm/entity, he/she must bring proof at the time of interview that the firm or entity is registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms, or any other regulatory authority, failing which his / her application shall be rejected.

The candidate must provide proof of registration showing that the concerned private entity had the status of a registered body during the period of experience claimed by the candidate.

Inservice Candidates:

5. Inservice candidates will ensure while applying for a particular post(s) that they have obtained or applied for NOC/DPC from their concerned department(s) and will provide the same at the time of the interview (if called).
6. The candidates will ensure, while applying for a particular post(s), that they have obtained/applied for a registration certificate from PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or another relevant regulatory body on or before the closing date and will provide the same at the time of interview (if called).
7. The candidates will ensure that they provide total marks or percentage certificates of all degrees issued by the competent authority at the time of the interview.

8. The shorthand test and typing & proficiency test, if required, will only be held in Lahore.
