How to Apply for FBR Jobs
Candidates can apply for the vacancies mentioned in the documents by following the online application process through the National Job Portal. The document specifies that no manual or hard copy of applications will be accepted, and candidates are required to apply online for each post separately.
- Go to www.njp.gov.pk, the National Jobs Portal’s (NJP) official website.
- Look for a job by salary range or title.
- Select “Apply Online” from the menu.
- Select the position and fill out the application.
- There is no application fee.
- If applying for multiple jobs, fill out different applications.
- We will only accept online applications; we will not consider hard-copy applications.
General Condition / Process
1. . Eligible candidates are advised to apply online through the National Job Portal Link: https://njp.gov.pk. No manual or hard copy of the application will be accepted by any office. Candidates applying for more than one post should apply online for each post separately.
2. Vacancies are reserved only for candidates belonging to Balochistan Province and disabled people.
3. Candidates will be required to bring original documents (educational, domicile experience certificate, etc.) along with one set of all attested copies of documents at the time of the test or interview.
4. Screening tests and skills tests (where required) will be conducted as per the recruitment policy of the Federal Government. Besides the screening test for the post of Sepoy, physical fitness, i.e., height and chest, of the candidates at the requisite standard shall also be mandatory.
5. Disabled persons will have to submit a certificate as proof of disability, duly issued by a recognized social welfare board, office, or other authorized government organization, at the time of the test/interview.
6. The FBR reserves the right not to fill any vacancy or to reduce the number of vacancies if the circumstances warrant it at the time of final selection.
7. The candidates working in public sector departments or organizations shall have to submit departmental permission certificates from their respective employers at the time of the test/interview, failing which they will not be allowed to participate in the test/interview process.
8. In addition to five years of general upper-age relaxation by the government, further upper-age relaxation shall be restricted to the following categories of candidates, as per relevant rules and policies:.

(i)
- (a) candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddh Communities, and recognized tribes of the Ex-FATA, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan for all posts under the Federal Government. Age relaxation is admissible. 03 years
- (b) Candidates belonging to Sindh (Rural) and Baluchistan for posts in BPS-15 and below under the Federal Government.
- Age relaxation is admissible: 3 years
- (ii) Released or retired officers or persons of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
- Age relaxation is admissible: 15 years or the number of years served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.
- (iii) Government Servants, who have completed at least two years of continuous government service on the closing date of receipt of
- Age relaxation is admissible: 10 years, up to the age of 55 years.
- (iv) Applications for disabled persons for appointments to posts in BPS-15 and below.
- Age relaxation is admissible: 10 years
- (v) Widow, son or daughter of a deceased civil servant who died while in service.
- Age relaxation is admissible: 5 years
9. Minimum and maximum age shall be calculated on the closing date of the application receipt.
10. The information provided in the online application form will be verified. In case of any false or forged
information, FBR reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage (even after
employment, if so revealed later) and to initiate legal action against the applicant.
11. Only short-listed candidates will be called for a test or interview. All the candidates will be allowed to appear in the test/interview on a provisional basis, subject to detailed scrutiny of their eligibility as per
relevant criteria.
12. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.
13. The last date to apply online on the website of NITB (National Job Portal) is August 26, 2024. Applications received after this date will not be entertained.
