Syllabus for Written Examination

• Paper 1: MCQs on Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies (for non-Muslim candidates), Everyday Science, Basic Knowledge of English & Urdu, Punjab Land Revenue Act (1967), Punjab Tenancy Act (1887), Land Acquisition Act (1894), and Basic Computer Studies (100 marks)
• Paper 2: English Essay (25 marks)
• Paper 3: Urdu Essay (25 marks)

Important Notes

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer in the MCQ papers
• Qualifying criteria: 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview; 50% marks in the interview to be eligible for the final merit list

• Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Public Policy, or Development Economics (second division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission
• 2 years of experience in gender-related projects and assignments
• Proficiency in MS Office

• M.Sc. Chemistry or Biochemistry (second division) from a recognized university
• OR
• BS (Hons) in Chemistry or Biochemistry (second division or CGPA 2.5) from a recognized university

• Speed of 25 w.p.m. in English typing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or any other compatible office application

• MCQ type: General Ability Written Test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration
  • 80% of questions on General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (for non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, and Everyday Science
  • 20% questions on Basic Computer Knowledge and MS Office

Assistant (BS-16) (Regularly)

• MCQ-type General Ability test of 90 minutes duration and 100 marks
  • General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (for non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies

Airframe Mechanic (Equivalent to BS-16) (On Contract Basis for 3 Years, Extendable)

Qualifications

• Minimum SSC (Science), higher qualification preferred
• Minimum 15 years of maintenance experience on MI-17 helicopter airframe, preferably qualified by the OEM on MI-171 airframe

Engine mechanics (Equivalent to BS-16) (On a contract basis for 3 Years, Extendable)

Qualifications

• SSC (Science) or equivalent, higher qualification preferred
• Qualified Flight Engineer (FE) on MI-171E helicopter, preferably approved by PCAA
• Minimum 15 years of maintenance, repair and flying experience on MI-17 helicopter

Flight Engineer (Equivalent to BS-16) (On Contract Basis for 3 Years, Extendable)

Qualifications

• SSC (Science) or equivalent, higher qualification preferred
• Qualified Flight Engineer (FE) on MI-171E helicopter, preferably approved by PCAA
• Minimum 1500 flight hours as FE on MI-17 helicopter
• Minimum 15 years of maintenance, repair and flying experience on MI-17 helicopter
